I was born in Texas but as the daughter of a 27-year Air Force veteran and the wife of a 20-year Air Force veteran, I have lived many wonderful places throughout the United States and the world. I worked 20 years for AT&T as a customer service specialist and supervisor before retiring in 1985. My husband retired from the Air Force and we moved back to his native Prescott, Arizona. I began work there for the Arizona Department of Transportation. My administrative experience led me to become the District Engineer’s Administrative Secretary until I retired in 1996. Like many Lake Powell visitors, we had a long-standing love for Lake Powell, the community and surrounding areas. I applied to the City of Page and started working as the Administrative Assistant for the Planning and Zoning Department Head within the month. My husband sold our Prescott home, then moved to Page and designed and supervised the construction of our new home in Greenehaven. I was with the City of Page for over two and half years and left as the Deputy City Clerk with a Public Manager's Certification from Arizona State University.

Ever since moving here I have volunteered for the Lake Powell Chamber of Commerce Visitors Bureau during the spring, summer and early fall. At the Chamber and during my neighborhood walks in Greenehaven, I frequently meet people who are looking for either an ideal retirement area or a small town in which to raise a family. Needless to say, I feel the Page/Greenehaven area is perfect, and I try to give everyone information about our hospital, schools, library and community college and answer other questions about our community. I was very active working as the coordinator for the Page Adult Literacy Service through the Page Library. This is an exciting community sponsored program that allows adults to continue their interrupted education with volunteer tutors. I served for 3 years as a Board Member of the Greenehaven Property Owners Association and was a member of the Greenehaven Welcoming Committee. In December, 2003 I was appointed, and in 2004 was elected to the Page Hospital District Board and have served in that capacity ever since. In 2005 and again in 2007 I was elected to the Board of Directors for the Page/Lake Powell Chamber of Commerce. In November 2017 I was awarded the Page Lake Powell Chamber of Commerce Humanitarian of the Year for 2016.

During our spare time my husband Al and I love to explore Lake Powell on our 32-foot houseboat “The Last Resort,” cruise the local area and attend car shows in our classic '57 Chevy, hike the back country, and fish for bass in the lake and for trout at Lee’s Ferry below Glen Canyon Dam. We are both volunteer boating safety instructors with the Arizona Game and Fish Department. For the past 20 years I have been an avid weaver and now I'm learning to weave on a computer-controlled AVL loom.

After reaching an “independent age” I decided to do something I have always wanted to do but never had the time or flexibility. In December 2002 I attended G. M. "Jerry" Little’s Central Arizona Realty Educators School in Tucson where I completed an excellent broker program and earned my Sales Associate license.  I immediately joined the National Association of Realtors® and Arizona Association of Realtors®. In 2007 I attended the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business in Scottsdale, Arizona and received my Real Estate Broker license, and in 2008 I attended the Real Estate Academy in St George, Utah and received my Real Estate Broker license in the state of Utah. In February, 2010, I earned the prestigious Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) designation, having completed extensive training in foreclosure avoidance, with a particular emphasis on short sales.

My 16 years as a Realtor®has been immensely satisfying as my sales and listed properties sold have ranked me as the top-producing area Realtor®. I've made many new friends and welcomed many new families to our community.

Having reached the "golden anniversary" of my 15th birthday I was ready for a new challenge, so, on January 1, 2009 I opened my own brokerage, Gunsight Realty. I am especially proud of the fact that after only one year in business Gunsight Realty was presented the "Best Of Page" award for Real Estate Services by the Page-Lake Powell Chamber of Commerce. Gunsight Realty has continued to be voted the Best Of Page for Real Estate service each year since 2010 and Best Professional Service in 2013 and 2015.

I look forward to 2018 and hope I will have the opportunity to meet YOU.
